Save
the date! We will celebrate Fr. Ralph's 25th anniversary with a
special Mass at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and a program.
Tickets are priced at $15 per ticket, and will be available for
purchase after the week-end Masses starting Saturday Sept. 13th.
There will be a limited number of tickets available. No tickets
will be sold at the door.
Sept.
28th: The Youth/Teen Mass will be held at St. Valentine Church, at 5
pm,. Fr. J.J. will celebrate. Masses will be held each
month on a rotation among the Redford parishes.
The
Parish Council meets Tuesday Sept 9th at 7:00 pm, following
Benediction. Meetings take place in the Berry/ Ryan Hall.
Pre
Fun Fair Meeting Open to All. There will be a Pre Fun Fair
meeting for the 50th anniversary of the Fun Fair on Tues, Sept 16th, at
7 pm in the Berry/Ryan Hall. All interested parishioners are
invited to attend. If you have any ideas for this event, please
bring them with you. See you on the 16th!

A
musical invitation! We are looking for several good people! The
choir will reconvene on Thursday, Sept 4th, at 7:30 pm in the school,
for the first rehearsal of the new choir year.
You can enhance our liturgical celebrations, by lending your
voice! No need to be an opera singer, or professionally trained;
if you can carry a tune, we need you!
This
October, we will be celebrating Fr. Ralph's silver anniversary of
ordination. Please try committing until then- just give it a try!
Of course, just a couple months later, we will be celebrating
Christmas. It will be wonderful if you can join us for that great
feast! The music is not overly difficult, and the choir is a fun
group. Please join us! You only need to appear for rehearsal.

Attention
OLL High School Students: we need mentors for our 7th, 8th, and 9th
grade students. You would be working with committed catechists who are
on fire, in spreading their fatih. Training will be provided; if you
are interested, check the Traveler for further details.

Help
Wanted! The Religious Education Program needs your help.
Catechists are needed for grades 7/eight; Catechist Aides are
needed for classrooms. Classes begin Monday, Sept. 22, and meet
on Monday evenings, 6-7:30 pm.
The
Liturgy of the Word with Children needs four adult leaders during the
Sunday 11:00 am Mass. Approximate teaching time is 20 - 25
minutes.
Families
with children ages 3-5, are encouraged to enroll in prekindergarten
classes. These classes will be held on Sunday mornings, during
the 11:00 am Mass.

at Our Lady of Loretto, we are a welcoming community; we are inviting
to anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic. If you have not
been baptized or received the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist or

meeting in September.
